High Sweet

River Island
Finally they have stopped selling the same old same o's and decided to look at what people are actually wearing, for years they where selling those dog awful jumpers that clueless people wore.

They have a range called L'arte and it's magnifique, its filled with beautifully tailored and designed t-shirts. best of all they have also introduced a sweet preppy style blazer along with a few other treasures.

Their suits are well crafted and they do one of the best value for money one button blazers at £90.00

Their boots are a great alternative to the expensive All saints and Timberland's counterpanes.

Topman
FINALLY a reasonably priced pair of Carrot or Low Crotch jeans, these are denims that are tailored to be larger near the hips, with a lower cut crotch. The leg then tapers right to the ankle. They shake up any ordinary outfit and look brilliant with a thick knit cardy.

They have some cool new colourways for the plaid shirts, and a chic beige trench coat which will be a must have right through to the spring.

H&M
Place to be for a propper pair of hat and gloves, they do some of the best thick knitted items on the high street at a great price as well. The beauty Item for them this season is their Shome (Ive been told its called this so If I am wrong I'm the messenger and for that very reason should not be shot). Its a long thick knitted tube like scarf that you put your head through, it styles up a suit and looks real cutting edge over a trech coat.

Zara
Always hit and miss for me but they always have fantastic office and formal wear, their shoes aren't too bad either. Carrot jeans are on the menu for Zara as well which at slightly more expensive then the ones at Topman.

French Croc Funk

The Lacoste mid hi's

These beauties fit the formal/informal mashup look like a glove, best worn with a smart pair of jeans and a suit jacket and t shirt or on second thoughts go the whole hog with a shirt and skinny tie.

Alternatively, throw on a t shirt, hoodie (dont zip up) and a thick knitted scarf.

They come in at £80.00 from www.asos.com

but im sure you'll be able to get them cheaper elsewhere.

Supra Star

Calling all street boutiquers

One of the most interesting items of footwear that I have seen in a long while, now all you guys that are well and truly clued up on the footwear front will know that the Supra Skate hight tops have been around for some time, but I saw them again today in Coventry and thought they've gotta be mentioned in MIM.

The one above comes in various colourways and where designed for Chad Muska one of the coolest skaters around.

They come in around the £100.00 mark but they work as a great alternative to the steeply priced Nike Air yeezys and the Louis Vuitton kanye sneakers which break the £100 barrier by a long shot.

The beauty of these trainers is you can wear them with anything "providing the colour goes of course".

Ive seen them worn with shorts, chinos. wide, skinny, carpenter and any other cut of denim. personally I think they look great with a blazer, polo shirt and slim jeans. Seen as its getting chilly chuck on a chunky scarf for good measure.
