The quilted jacket less farmer more about town cool.
This jacket is already set to be a popular option for the autumn winter season, infact they are already being sold in "bank" among lots of other shops.
To avoid looking like old Macdonald wear a slim fit version of the jacket, with a pair slim jeans and the Tom's pumps in the previous post.
Dress it up with a shirt buttoned to the top, and dress down with a printed t shirt.
For winter throw on a cool printed scarf (pick one up in H&M) I prefer grey dogstooth.

this look was already creeping in towards the end of last winter,
and i'm afraid i disagree with you on trying to avoid looking old Mcdonald....
the farmer look will be big and can be carried off with barbour!

For the record Gibbo is correcta mundo barbour.com, so correct infact ive added the site to the blog. it did start last year yeah but I put it up there again because I think it will be a key look this year also.
